INDUSTRIA's work for Credeal made the cut for Magic Paintbrush, an illustration anthology published by Hightone Publishing that collects standout illustration work from artists around the world. The brief behind the Design Art Collection was simple on paper and hard in practice: commission illustrators from around the world to build notebook and stationery covers kids would actually want to be seen carrying, with INDUSTRIA directing the collection as its own editorial project rather than a single logo stamped across a product line.

Each series got its own illustrator and its own world. Skull is Coolture runs a single skull drawing through a shifting CMYK palette across the range. A Stay Hungry Stay Foolish series built around wolves, a tiger and a bear carries its own hand-lettered type. A New York series built around the Empire State Building and the Statue of Liberty gives the same collection an entirely different city to live in. The covers do the selling before a single page is opened.

A book like Magic Paintbrush exists to collect illustration work worth studying on its own terms, not just as packaging for something else, and Credeal's notebooks earning a place in it is proof the curation itself, not any single cover alone, was the real design work.

"A notebook cover that gets chosen for what it says before a single page is written."
