InkBand's identity and packaging made the cut on Packaging of the World (POTW), one of the most followed packaging design blogs online. InkBand, a tattoo care brand born in 2016 from the collaboration of an anesthesiologist and a tattoo artist, needed a rebrand that could balance credibility with boldness: a mark that read as clinical enough to trust and bold enough to stand out in a crowded aftercare category. INDUSTRIA drew the identity from the idea of skin renewal, symbolized by a snake shedding its skin, and built a wordmark with a coiled tail folded straight into the logotype itself.

The system carries that same coiled motif onto the packaging: a spiral band wrapping each bottle and box, paired with a monogram built from the brand's initials and a photography system that moves between bold color and soft grayscale depending on the product. The result reads as clinical where it needs to and bold everywhere else, from a kitchen-cabinet aftercare bottle to a tattoo studio's own merch rack.

POTW, founded in 2008, has built an archive of thousands of projects and draws more than a million monthly visits from designers, students and manufacturers worldwide. InkBand's inclusion puts the rebrand in front of exactly that audience, proof a tattoo aftercare brand can read as considered as any category built around slower, more deliberate design.
